im doing some photoshop exploring to prep for classes because its a software ive never used before and man photoshop got hands.
its been maybe 5 years since i actually used a non-ipad drawing tablet and im so out of shape.
maybe its good that im getting some practice in now because i dont wanna fumble the bag when i get there and be left floundering when im asked to work in photoshop.
procreate was a bit of a learning curve to get into at first but ive fully gotten used to it now so switching back to a regular drawing tablet is making me question my art abilities fr.
The biggest reason why i havent been using PS before is probably the price, if you cant get it with the student discount i just think its too pricey.
other than that ive also had some serious concerns about how theyve been integrating AI into their software...like with their updated terms.... i watched this one video about it a while ago, i think it was this one.
idk i dont really know for how much longer Adobe programs will keep being used as industry standard when theyre actively employing AI thats hostile and harmful to said industry.
maybe im exaggerating the problem idk but it doesnt make me sleep easy at night knowing theyre scraping all of my files, even my private work :/
anyway im listing some intro to PS tuts below so i can easily find them again later
ultimately i would like to create two to three finished works before classes start so i can at least have a little bit of a workflow going into it but ill start with just some simple messing around with settings etc to get comfortable.
